What that means
Buying buttons carry a tracking code. If you buy after following one, we may receive a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and the commission comes out of the margin at the other end, not out of your pocket.
What it does not change
- The selection on the front page is chosen by review pools, zone by zone: the most-reviewed piece of each family, not the one that pays best.
- Reviews on the front page include four star reviews. A wall of five stars is a marketing page, not a lot.
- Where a piece is the wrong tool, the writing says so. The shade guide tells canopy owners when to take the canopy down, and the cooler guide names the jobs a cooler should not be trusted with.
- Safety-adjacent pages carry links to the public guidance they lean on, with the date we read each source.
